When Lisa took the stage for her first solo performance at Coachella, we made sure to keep a very close eye on her nails. The musician and White Lotus star has been showing off some pretty major manis lately, and we knew she was going to bring it for Coachella. And bring it she did, because Lisa wore claws onstage!

The singer went full reptilian glam for her performance, and nail artist Juan Alvear used that creative vision as inspiration for her manicure, a sculpted, XXL set with a dramatic curve and ultra-sharp point reminiscent of mythological, magical monsters and the fiercest members of the animal kingdom. “I wanted to lean into the creature fantasy of it all,” Alvear told Allure. “I knew the set should be inspired by the thorns outlining the bodysuit, so I based the shape off that.”

Alvear used Après Nail Gel-X Almond Medium Tips as the base for Lisa's claws, then crafted the curved shape with the brand's Extend Gel Novice adhesive. To match the silvery tone of Lisa's studded, reptilian bodysuit, Alvear used a custom combination of Après Nail polishes, including Light & Shadow polish in Renewal, a sheer, shimmery white, as the base color and Gel Couleur in Midnight Shadow, a jelly black, for the gradient effect, then added chrome powder for a prismatic, frosty glimmer.

Lisa and Alvear have been busy creating some truly mesmerizing manicures, like the stunning golden ombré design she wore for The White Lotus premiere and the gray ombré design she wore with her tuxedo gown at the 2025 Oscars. “Typically, I get a look at what she's wearing and come up with a couple options," Alvear told Allure of their process. For Coachella, he said that he had “loosely described” the claw idea to Lisa but after starting on the nails, realized they hadn't “fully talked out” all the details. “I asked her if she remembered what we were doing and she responded, ‘No, but I just trust you!’”

Alvear teased that they're “still deciding” on weekend two's nail design, but “there's a good chance we switch things up.” Consider us seated.
